After I went crazy

You were a bear
And I was a child

I was a cave
Pacing the edge of those rough cut
Berry patches
Huddled up in myself for the warmth

You were a Berry patch
A shaking amid the briars
And the whistle of a boy
Tremulous among this green

I was a child
An accident with metal teeth for a walk
A cave with a mouth stained amber
The song of a dead bear
Alive in the way that I wander

Here home among you
